Code of Conduct


“Players are required to be on their best behaviour and play within the Royal and Ancient Golf rules, displaying etiquette at the highest possible standard.”

Sarina Golf Club believes golf is enjoyable and a positive experience when its competitors, social players and visitors adhere to a Code of Conduct.


Violations of the Code of Conduct

  • Abusive language
  • Club throwing
  • Cheating
  • Disrespect shown to volunteers, officials, staff or other players
  • Vandalism
  • Abusive behaviors to employees
  • Use of illicit drugs or misuse of alcohol
  • Not adhering to the Dress Code during any tournament play
  • Leaving the course duding a competitive round without notifying an official
  • Damage to the golf course or another players belongings
  • Misuse of motorised carts
  • Any other conducts not becoming of a player or visitor
  • Any complaints must be in writing to the Sarina Golf Club committee
  • Complaints about staff need to be addressed to the relevant director

Discipline for the above offences

  • An official warning from Club Captain or attending committee member.
  • A written letter to the player/visitor sent by the Sarina Golf Club committee
  • Suspension

Conditions of Entry for Sarina Golf Club

  • All Covid-19 Government rulings must be followed.
  • No offensive language
  • No abuse of staff or other patrons
  • No intoxicated person will be served
  • No unruly behaviour will be tolerated
  • No dangerous or offensive weapons
  • Must show proof of age to bar staff on request
  • Noise to be kept to a minimum
  • No physical harm to other patrons
  • No B.Y.O alcohol to be brought onto the premises
  • CLOSED IN SHOES MUST BE WORN

Sarina Golf Club is a licensed golf course, under Queensland Liquor Laws, only alcohol purchased at the clubhouse may be consumed on the course. All alcohol not purchased at the clubhouse will be confiscated.
